multipath-tools-boot software package provides Support booting from multipath devices, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install multipath-tools-boot
multipath-tools-boot is installed in your system.
Make ensure the multipath-tools-boot package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep multipath-tools-boot *
You will get with multipath-tools-boot package name, version, architecture and description in a table
